“Engineering Happiness into Your Life” with Flavia Powell
March 20 @ 6:45 pm - 10:00 pm
Imagine what it would be like to be happy every day!
In this talk, Flavia Powell, founder of Happiness Engineering, Hypnotherapist and NLP Coach takes you on a powerful journey as she reveals how she went from being conditioned to being somebody she wasn’t, suppressed and misunderstood, sexually abused, self-harming, attempting suicide and suffering with anorexia, to happiness, smiles, vibrancy, and empowerment every single day.
“From my hospital bed, I had to make a choice…I could starve myself to death or I could take control. I chose to take control and to find the path to happiness.”
Flavia created a simple road map for herself and to help others, based on her past experiences and learnings throughout some of the most difficult circumstances as well as seventeen years working within the healthcare sector, predominantly mental health.
Her S.M.I.L.E. Model which features Five Simple Ways to Live a Happy Life, will teach you how to take control of your inner happiness no matter what life throws at you. You will find out how you can work through tough challenges whilst maintaining happiness and smiles.
As Flavia says “When times are tough, be grateful for that lesson. Who else is in a better position to help others than somebody who has lived their pain?”
Flavia has gone onto helping hundreds of people live a happier life with the systems and models she has developed.
“Only compromise as far as it doesn’t infringe upon your own happiness to avoid resentment and unhappiness”.
So many people compromise their most powerful values to fit in, to please others, to be accepted and to belong…all in the hope that they will reach their happiness.
With the help of Flavia’s S.M.I.L.E. model and the life balance contained within her simple road map, you will feel empowered to taking full control of your true happy self.
